CIVI 454 - Design of Steel structures
This course will introduce you to the practical design methods of complex steel structures and high-rise buildings. Students will learn and master the use of related codes and standards. Topics include: Design of floor and roof systems, Design of gravity columns, Calculation of lateral loads (Seismic and Wind); Design of lateral load resisting system (CBF, EBF, MRF).
